To further promote public wellbeing and enhance consumers confidence in domestic dairy products, in 2009, the Wissun Group devoted RMB 10 million to philanthropic programs and launched the Wissun Care-for-China Journey C Love across the County initiative. This public wellbeing program will soon roll out across the country.
It is reported that the initiative includes a donation of more than RMB 10 million worth of powdered milk to selected families in need with pregnant women and newborns aged 0-1 from counties and cities across the country. Thousands of families in need across the country will receive free powdered milk for a year from the Wissun Group.
The massive Wissun Care-for-China Journey C Love across the County initiative is a philanthropic program with far-reaching implications. It will draw greater public attention to vulnerable groups of people and prompt more and more responsible enterprises to enhance their product quality for the consuming public, to give back to the community, and to launch more public wellbeing programs, thereby fulfilling their social responsibilities as corporate citizens. The philanthropic programs for disadvantaged groups will spread camaraderie across the country and contribute to the building of a more harmonious and healthier society.
